It's so nice to see Kareena Kapoor as a seasoned actress; she's done an amazing job and definitely stood out in this film. The other leads were great too.Like,,,, Ooooh this was so good!! I was prejudiced going into this, thinking that a 2023 Bollywood film doesn't have much to offer (I apologize I apologize but I've seen this kind of take a lot recently from Bollywood fans and took it seriously). Boy was I wrong!!!Cinematography was stunning and many shots were so fascinating to many, like one where Teacher was talking on the phone and we can see the jujitsu club going at it in the back; and the one where the police officer just kind of spun around (how did they do that and why did it look so cool??). Editing of the scenes to build tension was also solid and fun. Storyline is serious but without abandoning the classic Bollywood flavor (the karaoke scene and the fight scenes, for instance). I was hesitant about the color grading (from the trailer, it just seemed like another Bad Netflix movie with the same colors but it proved me wrong quickly. The maths aspect was lil silly to me but still entertaining.I'm glad Maya and her daughter got away with it. Also what's wrong with watching a sequel before the first movie! I watched Shrek 2 before 1 and it was better! That poor homeless guy :(
