I honestly didn’t expect Karsten to be capable of directing something of this quality. Rhubarb is shot surprisingly well and has a strong, fitting plot for a short film. Despite the acting being fairly average, the overall presentation feels impressively polished, it comes across as a genuinely high quality short rather than a student project.
