Ooooooh we’re definitely taking steps in the right direction now. This movie is a much needed sequel to the first live action Fullmetal Alchemist movie and I think it’s much better, not a masterpiece or anything but it’s much better than the first. Storytelling and characters are a lot better here and Scar is very interesting and has a good backstory. Pacing is quite good and doesn’t really feel slow like the first movie did or anything. CGI can look super good at times but also can look REALLY bad sometimes too, but hey I don’t mind it, it does kinda take you out of the world a bit but I’ve never really been bothered with how CGI looks in movies. The Revenge of Scar is a good sequel in my opinion and I’m excited to see what the final movie of this trilogy has to offer because this movie ends off on a CLIFFHANGER so now I have no choice but to watch the final one. I’m such a sucker for live action manga/anime movies, I know most people are mixed on them and think they’re pointless but I just think there’s so much charm to them and they make me happy.
