I’m conflicted to be honest. I really really thought this movie was much better. It’s not like it wasn’t fun. I very much enjoyed the story and references and everything along those lines. I just thought the ending was a bit better. Part 1 is pretty good while 2 was the best of them all. The third part however was a really poor executed ending. It seems like this whole trilogy and all this buildup was for nothing. Just for the villain to be misunderstood? It’s a terrible “twist villain” not to mention the actual evil guy we did get had like no motivations, no reasoning behind his wanting to destroy Timmy. It just felt very forced and one dimensional. All the main cast are good. Nothing majorly wrong although now I see why everyone didn’t like Poof when he came out. Nothing but baby bait to give us something to “awe” at. The side cast in the second movie was probably where this movie shined the most. Having all Timmy’s usual antagonists help him was super fun to watch. I just wish this trilogy had a cohesive ending. Potential but a hard fumble on Butch.
