A sharp criticism of American racism both at home and abroad takes the forefront in this still undeniably sexy flick. The use of camera negatives and intercut footage of other works easily makes this Tinto's most experiment work, and it's so much better than could be expected. He even uses callbacks in later projects to the themes and scenes from this one making this a must see in his oeuvre. Perhaps the best Tinto soundtrack ever as well.
