There was so much hype around this movie but in the end it turned out to be the biggest flop. I watched it in the theatre and when I say it was empty, I mean there was not a single soul other than me sitting there. And every friend of mine that went to see that movie irl experienced the same thing.
This movie wants to be edgy so bad, but it isn’t. I see the vision that mr Aisultan had but he just didn’t deliver it. You can clear see that he has done only music videos prior to this. It is evident in every shot. Because the movie is visually very stunning but the dialogues, the plot and generally everything else is shit. And honestly, I really wanted to like this film, I really did. But it wasn’t doing anything that it made u believe it was doing through all the promo and trailers.
I really hope Aisultan takes notice of other( more accredited) experts’ critique and will deliver a better work next time. I want him to succeed, but I guess only time will tell. So, we wait.
