I don’t often dip into this level of contemporary straight to VOD stuff unless it’s horror and this feels a lot like what the poster depicts. Two actors you recognize in a kind of bland crime movie where they don’t have the budget to do anything or get enough coverage. The horror element comes in late and, had this gone further into the TCM/Hostel territory or gone further with the gore, it could’ve been great. What there is works. It gets there.
