I don't know how I overlooked this series until now but I'm glad I finally watched it. Telling the story of the making of the godfather through the experiences of movie producer al ruddy. The offer is a very entertaining and interesting story to see the behind the scenes drama not only with the movie but with the mafia as well. I like how the series explores the relationship between the characters and I especially liked how al and Joe columbos friendship grew. The cast do a great job too. The godfather is great and the offer is a good companion piece. All and all a good way to spend 10 hours.
