I first watched Under the Queen's Umbrella because my mum was obsessed with it, and while it was on I became interested in it too; I can confidently say it's one of the best historical K-dramas out there. Not only is the main story great, the subplots and supporting characters are also very well-written, and the cast (especially Kim Hye-soo) all do brilliantly in their respective roles. The costumes and sets are absolutely stunning as well, and there's some beautiful shots in every single episode. It's a crying shame Netflix released it as a limited series, because it's one of the rare gems amongst the rubbish (I'm looking at you, Big Mouth) that genuinely deserves another season.
