After a building collapses, Malik, a teenager from Mayotte who has been forced into a life of drug trafficking, is imprisoned at the Baumettes Prison in Marseille.

Malik offers to help his patron and mentor, Rony Lahoud, execute a prisoner on behalf of Massoud Djebbari.

At Les Baumettes Prison, alliances form and dissolve depending on the interests of the various factions. Malik finds himself alone once again. Determined to escape, the young man treads carefully. But soon he receives death threats when Massoud Djebbari puts a price on his head...

Malik agreed to become Massoud’s right-hand man in exchange for his protection. As the two get to know each other, Malik learns that he is on probation.

While on leave, Malik continues to work for Massoud, all the while gradually becoming immersed in the ruthless world of Marseille’s housing projects.

Just as Massoud is released from prison and tensions are rising in the housing projects, Malik meets the charismatic leader of the Comorian neighborhood, Médine Camara.

Caught between two factions, Malik no longer knows whom to trust. This is especially true as tensions begin to flare up here and there. Malik realizes that every decision he makes could potentially lead to unfortunate consequences. What’s more, time is running out, and certain deadlines are fast approaching...

In a tight spot, Malik feels the trap closing in on him, leaving him with no way out. Just as he thinks it’s all over for him, a surprise attack thwarts the plans of both Lattrache and his enemies...
