Lowkey every OffGun series carries such heavy themes and I love that for them, they really are the best pair to act in series like this. (Off and Guns acting is just so top tier)
Burnout Syndrome is so special and just overall a very great series. Loved the characters so much, even in times where I hated them lmao.
Mawin and Ing deserve the best for being able to handle their best friends, Jira and Pheem during all of this drama because I honestly would just tell them to suck it up and figure it out themselves (I am not near as patient as either of them😭)
Pheem is a great character, I was lowkey rooting for him and Jira to be endgame during the first few episodes because Koh was lowkey an asshole and Pheem was so sweet but then he turned into a bit of a beige flag and Koh started turning into the better option imo but towards the end I switched back and stopped wanting Koh to be endgame and kinda prefered Pheem (even though I knew Koh and Jira would be endgame because it’s an OffGunn series but I still held a bit of hope) but anyways, none of these characters are complete green flags or even complete red flags imo, they all just sit in the middle and that’s beautiful tbh
Fuck Ai and Koh was dead wrong for what he did to Jiras artwork, Kohs character is so difficult but so real, same with Jiras and Pheems.
I can’t get over how beautiful this series was (also the artwork is just amazing!!)
I was lowkey getting scared because the final episode was 50 minutes and Koh and Jira broke up and didn’t even make up during the first 35 mins and then I see the ONE YEAR TIME SKIP and my heart dropped a beat because time skips are so hard to get right imo but imma say that the time skip in Burnout Syndrome was done so beautifully and the fact that Koh still went to Jiras place and slept outside of the building in his car for 277 days during the year they weren’t together was sooooo beautiful and how Jira noticed and started a huge ass painting to them and worked on it for 277 days like that itself is just SO BEAUTIFUL and I literally cried so so much. Happy that Koh and Jira made up during the last 4 minutes but lowkey don’t see them lasting forever 😭 happy that Pheem and Koh seem to have made up during the time skip too AND Jira and Pheem too.. Ing said it right when she said that they need to all grow up 😭
