To My Shore is one hell of an experience to watch. It's about Shulang who is a doctor that is new to Thailand, who unfortunately happens to meet Fanxiao, a cunning businessman who is just crazy and evil to the core.
Their love story is... quite something alright. Fanxiao didn't expect to fall in love with Shulang despite all his manipulation tactics, and that became his biggest downfall. Shulang was pitiful. He just wanted to live a normal life, away from judgement and traumatic experiences. But Fanxiao gave him hell.
They are literally like an angel and devil falling in love. The devil thought he could reach heaven as long as he held the angel's hands. But in the end, the angel became the hell he despises.
Nevertheless, this drama was realistic and heartfelt. Sometimes, the only one who can save us is ourselves. No Bodhissatva can ever save someone from drowning, if that person don't even try to swim towards land. Fortunately, Shulang knew when to let go and Fanxiao repented for his sins. Heaven or hell it may be, I'm glad they find the way to their shore.
