I have a very similar feeling to this that I have with the hitchhikers guide. A lot of things were cut for time or changed to reduce characters. I feel like it wasn't taken seriously enough, and if it was taken more seriously then, Twoflower would work better. I also don't like the portrayal of Rincewind. I like the effort given, but I think it would work really well as a tv show.
