despite its repetitiveness and lack of character exposition or relationship build-up, theres still a lot to learn from this anime, especially in its portrayal of love (or rather the fear of being alone and mistaking that fear for love). every character in this goddamn show is insufferable and they all make terrible decisions, but that messiness is exactly what makes them so human. theyre all driven by something, each going about connection in their own way, and are eventually forced to confront it and learn from their mistakes.
