Such an underrated kdrama. I feel like no one has watched this, which leaves me empty. I'm the type of a person to search for fan edits after finishing a kdrama but this kdrama has no damn edits. Anyway, that's besides the point.
I watched this series when I was 14 and it was when I was developing as a person so this wrecked me. It's in the historical genre and this genre will always hurt, so I was already expecting a sad ending. Thank God, it isn't a sad ending. It was really close though. I think only re-watched it once but I definitely want to watch it again soon.
I was very unfamiliar with the main leads and till this day, I feel that they are so underrated and deserve so much hype to their acting. I do see Kim Namgil's rise to fame but not really Kim Ahjoong, sadly. Their chemistry was everything in the show and in real life. I really wished this kdrama had more attention. The diversity of genres was already so unique so it truly checked all ticks to my needs in kdrama.
