One of my favorite animes of all time, my true tragedy of what couldve been, my library of Alexandria.
Star Align or, Hoshiai no sora its about everything and nothing, its about letting old people from your life come in again and help you around your problems (Maki and Tōma), its about learning that its okay to persue your passions and whan do you actually want to be even if you live in an enviroment that tells you its not (Mitsue, Yu and Tsubasa), its about knowing that its okay to let people you love see your worst things, not only the bright side, and let yourself trust in them (Itsuki), its about letting yourself do bad things and have consquences for it, but that they doesnt make you truly evil, just a person (Nao).
Not only the characters; one of the most strong points about the series. The scenarios are amazing, the artistic style is one of the best i have seen, the scenarios, like Maki cooking, the guys practicing, the matches scenes... really amazing.
Also, as contrary people can think, i like the ending of the first (-and only) season, shows another version of Maki, a Maki that isnt happy, thats pressed to do those things because of his own father, which makes it more tragic that it actually is.
Sincerely, i love this series, i think everyone should at least watch it one time.
