Arguments can very well be made for this having the catchiest anime opening of all time.
I just finished the *Tsukihime Remake* (which is a masterpiece) so I decided to revisit this, since I remember not getting some of the *Tsukihime *character jokes the first time around, only having played around half of the original.
Well it was definitely worth it! *Carnival Phantasm *is on constant overload and provides one good parody bit after the other, my favorites probably being the “afterschool alleyway alliance”, the entire last episode and *Lancer *constantly dying, basic I know.
In general I really enjoyed seeing all of these characters I love being happy and having fun, since the terrorist of a writer we know and love, *Nasu, *doesn’t seem to enjoy writing that much of that.
