Speed Racer

Very much in the conversation for greatest movie ever made. It's pure visual candy and manages to hit all of the right beats to pay homage to the original cartoon while allowing the Wachowski Sisters to fully make it their own at the same time. I find my eyes watering in emotion every time I get the chance to watch it and without fail, I always wonder how the final race is going to go. I get nervous and my heart skips a beat like it's the very first time all over again. Perfection.
