Speed Racer

Officially seen this as many times as I’ve watched Showgirls and now I’ve got to grapple with whether or not this has also officially overtaken it for my favorite movie. At this point I’m not sure I feel confident in saying yes, but this also certainly has a special place in my heart that just overwhelms me with joy. There is nothing that transfixes my eye more than the Grand Prix sequence. Art perfection and just pure visual spectacle. Hard to imagine a better and more engrossing assault on the senses than Speed Racer.
