My 4th watch of this movie in less than month from first viewing, and it's still as impeccable as ever. Both Russells have this entire project by the horns and never relinquish the reins for a second. Delicately handling the life of a single mother prostitute while never shaming her for the life she's made for herself. We follow her for a day in the life of her profession and let her drop anecdotes and stories through the fourth wall in pseudo-documentary fashion. Unbelievably tight, coming in at 85 minutes, but so massive in weight that you're inundated by the performance Theresa Russell, who carries the entire load of this on her shoulders. I'm going to eventually run out of ways to say the same shit over and over again as I'll probably be watching this over and over again forever. Just go read my other reviews until I can muster the strength to really put it all into words at once. Also consider this quote: "and before you know it, he's beating his meat and licking my shoe"
