Superman

⋆ ⭐️ ˚｡⋆ “I’m punk rock” ( •̀ ᴖ •́ ) I’M BACK IN THE FUCKING BUILDING AGAIN.  This movie has basically taken over my brain since it came out. I can’t open social media without seeing edits, interviews, or crazy lore breakdowns. So I did what any (in)sane person would do: spontaneously bought another ticket. And guess what? It still hits. This movie has me feeling like I’m 11 years old again, back in my Marvel prime — curled up in front of the TV with my dad, binging The Avengers for the first time. Except now, Superman is giving me something even deeper. It’s got so much heart and soul beneath all the superhero stuff. Superman being pro-Palestine hit me right in the feels. “Darn it, I can be SUCH a geek sometimes”  This soundtrack is insane. It builds its own identity — somewhere between heroic and elegiac, with a little synthy warmth tucked in. I found myself humming it the whole time. There are these small motifs tied to Clark’s quieter moments that honestly made me emotional. You feel the score rather than just hear it. Honestly, Superman made me believe in superhero movies again. It’s hopeful, gritty, emotional — and it’s one of my all-time favourites now. Can’t wait to see it again (and again).
