EPISODE 2: another good episode. great even. about the same quality as the first, but i think the extra half star is just because I'm more into the world now and there's less set up. Colin Farrell again is so fun to watch and u can tell he loves playing it too. the characterisation is perfect for pretty much everyone. but Cristin Milioti👏👏👏 absolutely the best performer in the show right now; you wouldn't even believe it's the Mother from HIMYM lol. she's amazing in this, and pretty scary. the world-building is gooooodishhh, but MENTION BATMAN. it's actually so stupid. he is still the title of this universe, and he is the main character. even if this sub-section of a show does not revolve around him, he should still feel relevant, and you should be able to feel his presence. right now it's just another mafia show, no one would believe you if you said it's part of a Batman IP. in fact it strays so far from the actual world of Batman that when someone mentioned the Riddler in this ep i was so taken aback and it felt weird. it is a very stupid decision for no character to even mention him. simply using the rip-off Godfather "Falcone" and "Maroni" names for your characters isn't enough. hopefully this improves. other than that, great ep.
