The Penguin
EPISODE 4:
really good episode, could be the best so far? maybe? but i did really like the first one now that i think about it (even though I rated it lower than this and E2)
Cristin Milioti, AGAIN, is incredible. have i just not seen enough of her stuff, or has she been extremely underrated all this time? every expression she makes feels so natural, she's really living Sofia. it's crazy stuff.
but yeah as far as the material goes in this episode, i just didn't really care for it that much tbh. don't really understand why she only does this now either. ig she decided enough was enough and finally flips the switch after confirming that she can't trust anyone. but I think it was just too little Penguin for my taste. give me more Colin Farrell.
i will say it's probably the most well-made episode so far though, lot of really nice cinematography, music, and direction.
still, pretty good
