The Penguin

EPISODE 3: a good episode again, and a great ending which certainly helps it (although the curse of seeing Breaking Bad's influence in everything is real) but i thought the direction was weird in this tbh. kinda just goes all over the place, switching tone, and i dont think the different storylines were handled that well. dunno i just thought it didn't flow very well, weird direction. also doesn't help that the actress for Vic's gf is horrendous lol. but holy shit i can't stress enough how good Cristin Milioti is in this show. every expression is something new, and she's genuinely scary. Colin Farrell is good as always, and does remind us every now and then that he's pretty much a veteran at this point at being one of the world's greatest actors, but Cristin Milioti is who shines through all the way through the runtime for me. might be the weakest episode for me, but still good.
