Dune

Dune: Part One: Jessica as the central female character.Dune: Part Two: Chani as the central female character.Dune Messiah: Alia as the central female character. The way Denis has elevated these female voices throughout the first two parts is so fucking cool. Him casting Anya Taylor-Joy has always made me so goddamn excited for his version of Alia in Messiah. She is such an interesting lens through which he can frame Emperor Paul (just as he did with Chani in Part Two). I really hope she gets the opening narration or something, though Irulan as the historian of the story would also make sense. I cannot wait for Messiah to come out and for the audience to absolutely misread and maybe hate it because they didn't truly understand the idea behind the story that the first two parts set up. The reactions to it will probably be disastrous and I already know it's going to be my favorite of the three. When we get to that scene where Paul compares himself to Hitler and says that Hitler was mild compared to him, people will probably have a complete meltdown. “How could you ruin your hero like that? Complete character assassination!!!". Lol. Anyway, this shit bangs.
