Wicked

💚🩷I know i said i’ll stop watching this in theaters after the 10th time… but i had a rough month ok? The last time i saw it at the cinema was on december 17th and LITERALLTY THE NEXT DAY a big event occurred in my life. And ever since i’ve been disconnected from everything going on around me so i thought going to watch Wicked again would be a good idea. 💚🩷I love how this movie lifted my spirits with the characters and jokes and songs, but also allowed me to cry and feel my emotions. It perfectly matches my mood swings from the past month. I think i’ve listened to “I’m not that girl” way too many times recently. 💚🩷I just want to give Elphie the biggest hug ever. And actually everyone in the friend group. They’re all broken but trying to manage it. 💚🩷Wow 10 oscar nominations?! Honestly i didn’t think this movie would do that good initially. I never doubted the movie itself, but i thought since it’s a musical it would only appeal to theater kids and the rest of the world wouldn’t care about it (since that’s usually the case with musicals). But it became such a global event and i’m so happy. I think everyone needs to see this film ESPECIALLY at a time like this. 💚🩷On a side note, i hope i’ll be able to return to my way of life and log a movie per day soon. I just couldn’t bring myself to watch anything for the past couple of days, especially if it’s not a rewatch.
